Milhous School, a non-public school certified by the State Department of Education, offers on-grounds educational services to all of our residents. The program affords youngsters access to special education teachers, licensed speech therapists, school psychologists, and other supportive professionals on an as-needed basis. Each individual program is carefully carried out by staff members under the direction of the educational psychologist and principal. Our students enjoy small, self-contained classrooms with an average of six students per class, and three adult instructors, including a credentialed special education teacher. Each student progresses at his own level based on his particular Individualized Educational Plan.

New Heights offers an intellectually demanding and creative curriculum within a supportive, personal environment that has at its base in the notion of safety, equity, and inclusion for all. New Heights strives to help each student develop a personal commitment to learning, a respect for independent thinking, a sense of social commitment, an appreciation of the valuable traditions of the past, and a concern for the future. Since 1991 River Valley School has been providing a quality private independent study program for a wide variety of students in grades 7-12. The use of the exclusive "Assignment Tracking System", which gives details of weekly assignments and tests for an entire quarter, keeps everyone - student - parent - teachers - on the same page. In addition, the weekly homework instruction appointments with BOTH parent and student encourage students to do their best and keep parents informed and empowered to follow-up at home. Many of our families tried "free programs" that did not work for their students. This year, despite economic setbacks, 100% of last year's students re-enrolled because they are so pleased with their student's progress at River Valley.

Founded in 1989 by immigrant Muslims who were concerned about the fate of their children in an un-Islamic environment, Al-Ihsan Academy is a non profit educational institution established to educate Muslim children in a safe and nurturing environment where their potential can be fully developed.
