I assume that your daughter plans to repeat 9th grade in an American high school. In this case I expect that your daughter’s TOEFL score will probably increase with some training and your daughter will mentally prepare for the next year. It seems that you prefer to send your child to a girl’s school with less Chinese students.
Two things to consider. There are very few schools with few Chinese students, especially boarding schools. Top boarding schools will limit the number of Chinese students at the school, so usually limited number of Chinese students such as Middlesex or Deerfield. Less known boarding schools would have more Chinese students and many of Catholic schools tend to have more Chinese students.
Two schools that you mentioned are schools with a good reputation and are not big schools. I feel that these schools are some room for Chinese students with good educational environment. These schools are called ‘independent catholic schools’ which are somewhat academically better. I think your daughter with proper preparation; she would be able to accept.
